Yulemi Martinez is an Attorney with the Law Offices of Sean M. Wilson, L.L.C., and works out of our Charleston office, where she will focus on auto accidents, workers compensation, premises liability, and other business and civil litigation matters. In addition, Yulemi is a native Spanish speaker and can assist those who are primarily Spanish speaking.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Yulemi graduated from John Randolph Tucker High School while simultaneously earning an Associate Degree in Social Science from Reynolds Community College. She then went on to attend the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she was a member of the Women’s Track and Field team. After graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and receiving departmental honors graduating with the highest GPA, she relocated to South Carolina to attend law school.
During her time at Charleston School of Law, Yulemi served as the President of the Latino Law Student Association, an on-campus organization geared towards promoting the academic success of Latino/a law students and bolstering their connections with Latino/a legal professionals in the Charleston area. She was also an active member of the Student Affairs Committee and the SBA Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Yulemi started her legal career with our firm, the Law Offices of Sean M. Wilson, L.L.C., in July 2022 as a law clerk. Throughout law school, She continued to clerk for our office, assisting our attorneys in various legal matters. In May 2024, she graduated from Charleston School of Law with her Juris Doctorate and became a practicing attorney at our firm.
Yulemi was inspired to pursue a legal career because of her passion for serving others and her desire to use her bilingual abilities to advocate for meaningful change within the community. When not practicing law, Yulemi enjoys staying active, exploring new areas, taking her dog on walks, and spending time with family and friends.
